Technology Requirement Checklist

​​​​​​We want to make sure our Team Members are set up for the best experience possible as they support our mission to be the most trusted and convenient destination for pet parents everywhere while working from home.



We recommend roughly 48 inches to support two 27 inch monitors and a physical desk phone (hard phone). ​​​​​​​

Network Speed  

In order to support our applications, your network needs to have a minimal speed (and maintain these speeds) of 30Mbps down, 10Mbps up, and less than 100ms latency.

Internet Router 

Your router will be a network device that is provided to you by your internet service provider. The router will have ports in the back where you would connect, usually 4 ports. You will need 1 of those ports for your computer internet setup.​​​​​​​

Identifying Your Internet Speed 

It's best to test this using an ethernet cable connected to your service provider router to get the best results for your network.
  • Open a web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, or Microsoft Edge)

  • In the search bar, type in

  • website will open with a “Go” button in the middle of the browser. Click on “Go” and record your screen results.


Type of Internet Connection 

Our systems do not support wireless networks. This is why we provide an ethernet cable as you will need to connect to the internet directly from your router. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
