What type of early career opportunities does Chewy offer?

Chewy offers Internship, Co-Op, and Full-Time positions across a variety of fields, including technology, operations, merchandising, supply chain, finance, and more. 


How long is Chewy’s Internship & Co-Op Program? 

Chewy’s Internship Program is 10 weeks long and takes place from June – August each year across a variety of different business functions. The Co-Op Program is 6 months long and takes place from June – December.  


What type of projects do Interns and Co-Ops work on? 

Chewy Interns and Co-Ops work on meaningful, high-impact projects that contribute to Chewy’s key business priorities.  


What will I gain from Chewy’s Campus Programs? 

Chewy’s Campus Programs offer a dynamic and enriching experience designed to support both personal and professional growth. Participants benefit from 1:1 mentorship, professional development workshops, networking events, and a leadership speaker series featuring insights from Chewy’s senior leaders. In addition to career-building opportunities, Chewy emphasizes connection and community by organizing engaging social activities such as escape rooms, movie nights, and team meals, helping build strong relationships within their cohort and across the company. 


What kind of training or mentorship is provided? 

Interns and Co-Ops are paired with a direct manager and mentor to oversee their project work and provide feedback and development coaching. As part of the Campus Program, Interns and Co-Ops will participate in Leadership Speaker Series, Professional Development Workshops, and receive ongoing feedback from their teams to support their growth. 


When should I apply? 

Applications for Chewy’s Intern and Co-Op Programs typically open in early January. Full-Time roles are posted throughout the year based on business needs. Students interested in Full-Time, non-Campus Program positions are encouraged to apply approximately one to two months before their expected graduation date. 


What does the interview process look like? 

Upon completing an application, candidates typically go through 1-2 rounds of initial screening with a recruiter and/or representative from the business. Do I need a referral to apply? 

No. While referrals are welcome, they are not required to be considered for an opportunity at Chewy.
